Luo Binwang, 駱賓王, (619–684?), along with Lu Zhaolin, Wang Bo, and Yang Jiong, was one of the Four Paragons of the Early Tang dynasty. He was important in developing the Lüshi style (eight line) of poetry.
He fell out of favor with the Empress Dowager Wu and was exiled from the capital to the south. After his death, she recognized his brilliance and collected his poems.
