Luo Yin (c. 833 – 26 January 910) was a late Tang poet. His death in 910 puts him at the tail end of the Tang dynasty, which fell in 907. Luo took his first Imperial examination at the age of 20, He failed the exam ten times, and subsequently gave himself the pseudonym “Yin” (“concealed”).
Luo had two remarkable characteristics, he was ugly and arrogant. Neither quality advanced his career.
